Hi Leo, Mary, Marla and Mark, I look forward every month to the updates on Marla's progress. How wonderful she has recovered from her serious elbow surgery and can now bend and move her right arm!! It sounds like you are all moving back to Glenwood, and that must be good news for everyone!! WIll you continue to return with Marla to Denver for followups at Craig? I think of you often. Im so glad that Marlas surgery went so well! I check on for the updates to watch her progress and it is very incouraging for me! My 20 year old son went to residential rehab three weeks ago, after being home w/us 1 year, getting him ready for rehab. His MVA was 11/28/02. Good luck,Marla and keep up the great work! Tina

Hi Marla! I am getting ready for the weekend, and hoping that it won't rain, but I think we are in for some precipitation. I know we need it! I don't know if you know this or not, but I work at the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Fort Collins. I work with horses, mainly in an area where we work up their lameness issues, but also in surgery. We did surgery this past week on a 1600 pound horse who had broken his elbow! I couldn't help but think about you with your elbow, and thought you probably knew how the horse was feeling. I check your website weekly for any up-dates, and new picturea, and I am always encouraged by your strength, and determination. Maybe you could come and let our horse know what he needs to do to get through his first week post-op!! You are always in my thoughts and prayers, keep up the good work! Claire

Marla, it was so good to see you. Helen Mina and I have been so pleased with the result of your elbow surgery and overall condition of your health. You are always in our minds and prayers. Helen is getting cuter by the minute and her smiles melt my heart. I am trying to watch her on Tuesdays and Thursdays,so that Mina could work, so far it has not worked out so good. Helen wants her mommy every hour and that makes it too hard for Mina to get anything done at work. Please let me know when your are back in Glenwood so that I could have you over for a tea.
