Support

There are so many ways that people are supporting Marla in her recovery. Her family has been overwhelmed by the number of people whose lives Marla has touched including colleagues, students, teachers, friends and family. So many have come to visit her, and have sent cards, letters, books, flowers, music, stuffed animals and love. The outpouring of support for Marla is a true indication of what a precious jewel is reflected in Marla's spirit.

If you would like to support Marla, the best and first way is to pray for her, and send her positive, healing energy. Marla is being prayed for by people across the country and even the world. We know that Marla's recovery is blessed by these prayers.

With the extent of Marla's injuries and the slow but steady rehabilitation requirements associated with a brain injury, Marla's medical expenses outweigh the benefits available to her under her health coverage. Marla continues to require on-going care and intensive outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

If you would like to help to defray Marla's medical expenses, several opportunities are listed below.
